Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 of the European
Parliament and the Council concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and
Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) entered into force on 1 June 2007.
The legislation requires industry to mitigate the risks from chemicals by providing
information on their properties and risks, and registering that data with a central agency.
The goal is to provide a greater level of protection for people and the environment.
In order to comply with the requirements of REACH our Company has completed the registration
of the chemicals by the efficacious help of the owners in 2010 as a member of the “Formacare”
consortium in accordance with the regulations.
The plant attaches a great importance to the storage, management, handling and packaging of
dangerous materials can be found in the plant taking into consideration of the relevant rules
and provisions in force. According to the Act on Disaster Management the plant considered as an
upper-tier hazardous plant, therefore it is extremely important to help the continuous training
of the employees, increase process safety, and observe the strict rules and regulations related
to the handling and packaging of harmful materials and use of suitable packaging materials.
These rules define the proper type of transport,
packaging equipment and marking required for the safe transportation of dangerous goods.
We are in close co-operation with our suppliers and customers in order to ensure the
observation of rules and provisions in force and related to the receipt and delivery of
chemicals.
